Real Life:  From the very beginning God realized that it wasn’t good for man to be alone.  So He created Eve.  From there, the sense of community and belonging was born.  I find great comfort knowing that even Adam and Eve’s family was dysfunctional.

Real Faith:  A community of believers is much like a family.  We don’t get to pick and choose a family; we don’t even get to vote to see if someone is allowed in or not.  In a family you get what you get.  It may, at times, be dysfunctional, but it doesn’t have to be!  We may start out wishing we could trade our family for someone else’s, but we can’t. 

 

Real Hope:  God has a plan for each of us.  When faced with difficulties, we can choose to seek to be the person God made us to be. Whether it is as a mother, father, sister or brother, we can make a difference in the lives that God made us a part of and begin the journey to real Hope!
